Harold L. Bicknell, an old Oak Park boy, went into the service at Camp Lewis, America n Lake , Wash., was afterwards transferred to Co. D, 27th Engineers, stationed at Camp Leach, Washington, D. C. He was very fortunate in his transfer from across the continent, as he found a great many of his friends in the company to which he is attached. Part of the regiment has already left for overseas duty and he expects any day to follow. Harold went thru the grade schools and graduated from the Oak Park high in 1909.

Harold L. Bicknell has returned to Chicago after spending several years in the west. Mr. Bicknell had always made his home in Oak Park, is a graduate of the Oak Park high school, and has just graduated from the Colorado School of Mines at Golden, Colo.
Mr. Bicknell, with his mother, Mrs. O. L. Bicknell, and his sister, Mrs. Frank L. Pitkin, have been guests of Mrs. M. E. Wood on their way to Douglas, Mich., for the summer.
