She was a nurse's aide with St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1958, in Mishawaka and lived in the area all of her life. Surviving are two sons, James and Mark, both of Mishawaka; two sisters, Gail Bailey of Elkhart and Gwen Bates of Mishawaka; three brothers, Marvin Walters of Mishawaka, Floyd Walters Jr. of Southland, Mich., and John Walters of Marshalltown, Iowa; three step-sisters, Phoebe Ann Spence of Mishawaka and Zora Sult and Francis Schroder, both of South Bend; two step-brothers, Paul Evans and Thomas Evans, both of Mishawaka; her mother and stepfather, Barbara and Frank Evans of Mishawaka; her father and stepmother, Floyd and Viola Walters of Englewood, Fla.
