Zenas Black, whose father was one of the first settlers in Putney, was a native of this town, but removed about 1848 to Barnard, where he died. He was twice married and had seven children, only two of whom are living, one son, Charles, in Barnard, and another, Horace, in Putney, on road 39. Hibbard C.
