From the Bartholomew Family History: Luther (Luther, Noah, William) born in Litchfield, CT, 25 Aug 1789; married July 1815 to Fannie Fox of Hartford, VT and died 28 May, 1880 age 90. Fannie was born in Hanover, NH 17 July 1799 and died 21 Aug 1881, aged 82. Mr. Bartholomew resided in Bernard, VT; was a farmer. Children: MARY ANNA BARTHOLOMEW, born 17 Oct 1816, married in Aug 1839 to Arthur Hathaway and died in Charlestown, MA 24 Sept 1860. Mr. Hathaway has been chief of the private watch in Boston for over 30 years; res. E. Somerville, MA. Children: 1) Mary F. Hathaway born 24 Aug 1840, res. with father; 2) Elizabeth Hathaway, born 2 Oct 1842; res. with father; 3) Forrest H. Hathaway, born 07 Oct 1844, captain in the US Army, now stationed at St. Paul, MN. 4) Charles A. Hathaway, born 12 July 1846, died 30 July 1868. 5) James R.
