On July 13, 1940 she became Mrs. Roger Vandendriessche and went to raise four children, Beverly, Darlene, Jerry and Rita. She also had five grand-children, Deborah, Angela, James, Jeffrey and Katherine. She was also blessed with five great-granchildren, Brittany, Cameron, Jessica, Cody and Hanna.
Marion was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 3, 1944. She truly demonstrated her faith and love of God by the way she raised her children, supported her husband and shared her beliefs in the bible and in her kindness to others.
In 1996 she lost the love of her life, Roger, in death. She cared for him and supported him to the end. They served loyally together in the Galt Riverview Congregation for a number of years. Other congregations they served in were Hespler, Forest, London, Mount Bridges, Hagersville, Ingersoll, Strathroy and Aylmer.
Marion finished her years in a nursing home, Cambridge Country Manor where again her love shone for others and was well liked by all, some even crying over their loss of a friend.
Wherever Marion was, her consistent love for Jehovah and her devotion to her children along with the sharing of her Christian beliefs endeared her to all. She now rests in the best place of all, in Jehovah's memory...
