Mr. Tucker was a farmer & stockman who had lived in Craig County for 42 years.
On Jan. 16, 1889 he married Margaret Rachel Carson in Dade County, Missouri. To this union nine children were born of which two preceded him in death as did their mother.
Survivors are four sons, Samuel Elwin Tucker of Bluejacket; John Judson Tucker, Rt.1, Vinita; Charles Troy Tucker of Rt. 2, Vinita; Lester Earl Tucker of Washington state; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Mayberry, Wentworth, Missouri; Mrs. Clyde (Lora) Lynn, Paola, Kansas and Mrs. Jess Adams, Oxford, Nebraska. Also surviving, one sister Mrs. Julia Shoelock, address unknown.
