Mary Ann Friedman,88, widow of Vincent Friedman and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Reiling natives of Baden Germany, died yesterday at the home of her son, Edward M. Friedman, northwest of Malvern. She had been sick only a few days.
The deceased was born in Brown Township where she had resided all her life. She was born December12, 1839. For several years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Teresa Casper, but when the latter moved to Shelby recently, the aged woman moved to the home of her son.
The deceased was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church from where funeral services will be held either tomorrow or Saturday morning. Rev. Dengler will officiate.
Surviving are six sons, Daniel of Spokane, Washington, John A. of Moscow, Ida, Frank of Oakland, California, Gregory of Walla Walla, Washington, Joseph of Houston, Texas, and William of Alliance, one daughter, Mrs.Teresa Casper of Shelby, two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Meyers of Malvern and Mrs. Magdalene Halter of East Sparta and one brother, Martin Reiling of Portland, Oregon, 45 grandchildren and 50 greatgrandchildren.
