John Rees Jones, 75, of 2511 Alden, Kansas City, Kansas, died last night at the home. He was born in England and lived in Kansas City, Kansas, 63 years. Mr. Jones was a butcher 21 years for the Basey grocery, 331 South Tenth, retiring January 1. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Aline Jones of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Boschenriehter, 6 West Ninety-ninth; a stepson, Donald R. Connor, 2119 South Thirty-eighth; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lucille Del Percio, 6333 Rowland, Wyandotte County; Mrs. Wanda Engelbrick of the home, and Mrs. Virginia Pace, 4334 Garfield; two brothers, Vincent Jones, 365 South Ferree, and W.D. Jones, Pryor, Okla.; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday at the Fulton chapel; burial in Memorial Park cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
