Edward M. Friedman Waynesburg -- Edward M Friedman, 75, of Rd, Waynesburg, died Friday at his home of a heart ailment.

Mr. Friedman was a native of Brown Township in Carroll County, having been born on the farm where he lived his entire life. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Malvern. Mr Friedman retired eight years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cecilia Oprean and Miss Mary Friedman of the home ; a son, Edward Jr. of Reedurban; seven grandchildren, and two brothers, William of Alliance and Frank of Oakland, Calif. His wife, Mrs Jane Friedman, preceded him in death. Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 am at three church with the Rev Fr. Leo Wiggins officiating, Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Deckman funeral home in Malvern Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday night from 7 to 9. The Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home Monday at 8 p.m.
