Rubin Thomas George, 86, died today at his home, 2511 Alden. He was born in Wathena, Kan., and had lived in Kansas City Kansas most of his life. Before retiring in 1948, he was employed as a fireman for the board of public utilities for thirty-nine years. Mr. George was a member of the Quindaro Nazarene church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Flora George, of the home, four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Boeth, Hickman Mills, Mo., Mrs. Aline Jones, of the home; Mrs. Pearl Panick, 3027 North Thirty-fifth, and Mrs. Mable Garrett, 2035 North Seventeenth, a son, Earl Wilson, of the home, a sister, Miss Edna George, Troy, Kan., and thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Fulton chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. The body will be in state at the chapel after 5 p.m. today. Published on Thursday Evening, May 24, 1956
