WAKE FOREST - W. Steve Cash, 69, of 708 Stadium Drive, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at his home. He was born in Wake County and was the son of the late George and Elsie Ray Cash. He was part-owner of Cash Brothers Logging and was preceded in death by his first wife, Bobbie Jean Pleasants Cash.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock, Thursday afternoon, April 19, 2001 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cash is survived by his wife, Edna Ruth Cash; sons, William W. Cash and Anthony S. Cash, both of Wake Forest; step daughters, Kaye H. Alford and her husband, Kevin of Wake Forest and Kathy L. Woodlief also of Wake Forest; stepsons, Albert E. Height and his wife, Donna of Wake Forest and Baretta T. Height and his wife, Melissa of Franklinton; brother, Russell M. Cash of Raleigh; one granddaughter, Cassie A. Cash of Wake Forest; 11 step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
