Services for Faye P. Thigpen will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Crest Lawn Funeral Home with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Thigpen, 76, died Sunday in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her children, Ruth Gibson of Colquitt, Robert Neal Thigpen and Dr. Larry V. Thigpen, both of Macon, and Danny Ray Thigpen of Gray; brothers and sisters, James Purser and Jim Purser, both of Alabama, Gladys Brantley of Sardis, Pauline Gaskins of Bradenton, Fla., Betsy Lou Berryhill of Warwick, and Nancy Smith of Cochran; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Bibb County Unit, 363 Pierce Ave., Macon 31204. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight in Crest Lawn Funeral Home and may be contacted in 342 Old Oak Road.
