Served in the Civil War Army Co I 135th Ohio Vol Infantry with his brother George Washington Ward in which he died o Sept 12th 1864, Joseph T.C. served his country until April 20th 1867 when he was discharged.
He would marry Ella Stuber. he got married this one time although from what I have read this marriage didn't last but a few days. She married him for his money. Joseph TC would never have any children.
