Wife of August F Pepper
Huldah Pepper, 90, Peppertown, died Monday at the Lincoln Lodge Nursing Home in Connersville.
Mrs. Pepper was born May 20, 1894, in Peppertown, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Kirshbaum Reifel. She was married April 4, 1923, to August N. Pepper in the St. Mark's Lutheran Church parsonage at Batesville, and he preceded her in death in November of 1983.
She was a housewife and a member of the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church at Peppertown. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Harold (Cecie) Snowdy, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Robert (Efter) Fischer, Peppertown; one granddaughter, Cheryl Snowdy, Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: William and Almont Reifel, and one sister, Mrs. Clara Hannebaum.
The services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church in Peppertown with the pastor, Michael Wiechers, officiating, and with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. The family suggests that any memorials be given to the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church Fund.
