Mrs. Elizabeth Ripple Wirick Passes Away at Her Home Near Old Ashtola.
Windber, June 18. - Disease incident to old age caused the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Ripple Wirick, at her home near old Ashtola, Paint Twp., on Wednesday morning. She was seventy-six years, nine months, and twenty-eight days old, and was the daughter of the late Peter Ripple. She made her home on the old homestead. Her husband died about two years ago in the same room where Mrs. Wirick passed away. The deceased is survived by the following children: Ephraim, Albert, Noah, Louis, Joseph and Jacob Wirick, all of Paint Twp.; Mrs. Noah Penrod, of Ashtola; Mrs. John Grush, of Mine No. 36, and Mrs. Mary Woolford. These brothers and sisters also survive: Joseph Ripple, Noah Ripple, and Mrs. Shaffer, of Kansas; Mrs. Border, of Portage, and Jacob Ripple, of Scalp Level. The funeral was held at 10:30 o'clock this morning at the Rummel German Baptist Church, with interment in the Berkey Church Cemetery, the Rev. Mr. Adams, of Scalp Level, had charge of the services.
