Mrs. Sarah E. Sprenkel, of Palmyra, N.J., a former Yorker, died in Philadelphia Saturday afternoon. She was 56.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Emma J. Spangler, 550 Madison avenue, and the following children: Mrs. Frederick Schneider, Barnesville, Md.; Mrs. Lewis Hunter, Palmyra, N.J.; Mrs. C.M. Boyd, Long Beach, Cal., and William and Richard Sprenkel, both of Palmyra.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Bevan P. Y. Jordan, Philadelphia; Mrs. Emanuel F. Withers, Lebanon, and Mrs. Marie Sterner, 550 Madison avenue.
She was a member of Germantown Church of Brethren.
Funeral services will be held from the Memorial Funeral home of Henry Sleeger and Sons, 822 East Market street, at 2 p. m. Wednesday. Rev. M. A. Jacobs, of the Church of the Brethren, will officiate, and interment will be in Greenmount cemetery.
