Harry C. Babb, 81, retired farmer of the Bondville area, who died July 8, was a nephew of Dr. F. M. Conkey, and a cousin of Mrs. Oscar Baird, Mrs. Harlan Winters, and Miss Lilian Conkey, all of Homer.
Mr. Babb was born Jan. 17, 1886, in Ogden Township, son of Edwin Peter and Emma Conkey Babb. He married Lulu Goodman Sept. 2, 1908, in Champaign, living there until they moved to Bondville 47 years ago.
Mrs. Babb died in 1962.
Funeral services for Mr. Babb were held at Champaign July 11 and interment was made in the GAR Cemetery in Homer.
