Neva Kilpatrick is the daughter of Robert Wallace Kilpatrick & Edith Marion SPENCE. She is first of two children, her younger brother being Emery L. "Pat" Kilpatrick. Both Neva and Pat were born in Aldine, a small rural town outside of Houston.

Neva first married Samuel Henry Roberts in Houston, Harris, Texas on Aug 4, 1921. They had two sons: Glenn Roberts & Wallace Elwyn "Wally" Roberts. The 1930 Census shows that Neva is divorced and she and her sons are living with Neva's mother, Edith.

Neva eventually moved to California and married Joel Thomas Wimmer. He died in 1960 and they are buried next to each other.
