She was born in Hagerstown, March 19, 1907, daughter of the late Charles L. and Myrtle Roof Barnhart.
Her early life was lived in Hagerstown, and as a young woman, was employed as a dental assistant in the offices of the late Dr. Basehoar. She and Mr. Barnhart had made their home at the present residence in Mont Alto since their marriage in August, 1937. Prior to her retirement in 1970, Mrs.Barnhart had worked as a clerk at the Mont Alto Post Office for a number of years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Quincy.
