Mrs.Brecheen made her home in Cisco after the death of her husband in 1979 until health reasons forced her to move to Scurry County to be near family.
She and William David Brecheen were married Feb. 16,1919 in Bryan,Texas.
The Brecheens first moved to Cisco in 1921 where Mr. Brecheen worked for the Cisco Daily News. They moved to Abilene in 1948,returning to Cisco after retiring in 1962.
Mrs. Brecheen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cisco for many years.She truely tried to do at least one good deed for someone everyday.
The Brecheens were preceded in death by all of their children,one daughter,Martha,two sons,Bill and Roger,as well as their foster daughter,Mary Prudence Harris.Two grandchildren also preceded her in death,and her husband,William D, Brecheen.
