LETTIE V. DALY YOUNG
The funeral for Lettie V. Daly Young will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She died of causes related to age Tuesday in a Vancouver hospital. She was 88.
Mrs. Young was born in Pine Creek, Mont., on June 27, 1902, and had lived in Vancouver the last 67 years. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Martha Washington Chapter 42 in Vancouver, and a past president of the Vancouver Parent-Teacher Association.
Surviving Mrs. Young are her husband, Eugene V.; son, Eugene C. of Salinas, Calif.; daughter, Dolores Y. Owen of Vancouver; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to either Children's Orthopedic Hospital, 4800 Sand Point Way N.E., Seattle 98105, or the St. Luke's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 426 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver 98663.
