Born Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii March 4th, 1948. He was raised on various Army bases as his father was a career soldier. Jerry graduated high school in Calhoun, Georgia in 1966.
He married his high school sweetheart immediately upon graduation and fathered 4 children
He did a tool and die makers apprenticeship at Lockheed Aircraft in Marietta GA in 1968, and worked as a millwright in various north Ga carpet mills after he was laid off in bust of the Georgia aircraft industry in the early 1970's. He then returned to the carpet industry to put bread on the table
In the late 1970's , Jerry re located his family to the Pacific Northwest state of Washington, residing in the town of Snohomish, and later in Everett. There he was hired by Boeing Aircraft, as a tool and die maker and worked at Boeing up until his untimely death at age 54 in 2002.
He enjoyed fishing , he had a passion for shooting, deer hunting and prairie dog shooting. Along with exploring the Northwest, his adopted home .
His fierce love of his family, along with his dynamic personality endeared him to those who knew him.
