Macomb-Josephine J. Derry, 85, of Macomb, passed away at 5:40 PM Thursday April 26, 2012 at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb, IL. She was born January 14, 1927 in Tennessee, Illinois to Charles Edward and Hazel Alton Clark; she married Virgil Dale Derry on April 12, 1947 in Rushville, IL. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons; Robert and William Derry and 1 brother Joseph Clark. She is survived by 1 daughter; Karen Thompson of Tampa, Florida, 1 son; Thomas Derry of Toluca, Illinois, 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11AM Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home, where visitation will be 1 hour prior to services. Rev. Donnie Case will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made the charity of the donor's choice.
