Sharon Fagan, mother and volunteer

Sharon E. Fagan, the mother of three young children and a Meals On Wheels volunteer, died on Friday, Dec. 1, at Norwalk Hospital. She was 40, the wife of Robert O'Sullivan Fagan, and lived on Barrack Hill Road.
Mrs. Fagan was born in Minden, La., March 22, 1960, a daughter of Norman J. Cone Jr., of Minden and Dorothy (Rogers) Cone of Ridgefield.
She attended Minden schools and graduated from Centenary College of Shreveport, La., with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Upon graduation from Centenary she moved to New York City where she accepted a position with a New York accounting firm.
She lived in Ridgefield for the past 10 years, after moving from New York. She was a volunteer for the Meals On Wheels Program, a member of St. Mary's Church and of its Young Mothers Club.
Mrs. Fagan enjoyed sewing, home renovation planning and interior design. She most especially enjoyed her husband, children, family and friends and was most proud to be called "Mom." She will be long remembered as the most perfect mom a child could hope for, her family said.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Robert O. Fagan and Patrick A. Fagan, and a daughter, Sharon Elizabeth Fagan, all of Ridgefield; two sisters, Terri Cone of Ridgefield and Cynthia Webb of New Orleans, La.; a brother, Norman Cone III of Minden, La.; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Ridgefield with the Rev. Robert P. Morrissey, pastor.
Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield.
Friends were received in the Kane Funeral Home, 41 Catoonah Street, on Wednesday evening.
