"Longview, TX/Doyline, LA-- Mr. Thomas Elmer Tennison, 91, passed away October 7, 2000 at Whispering Pines Nursing Home. He was born in Ringgold, was a former resident of Doyline for 26 years and was a resident of Longview, TX for 2 years. He was a veteral of WWII in the Pacific and a retired mechanic with Chevyland in Shreveport. He was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Leonard Cornelius and Anna Zee Sapp Tennison; his wife, Leadis Elosie Franklin Tennison; four brothers and one sister. Survivors include two sons and their wives, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren."
