MRS. IDA MAY GlBBONS.
Shelbina, Mo., Feb 13. — Mrs. Ida May Gibbons, 93, died at 9:55 last night in Levering hospital at Hannibal, where she was a patient two days. She had resided in the Beth Haven rest home at Hannibal seven years.
Funeral services will be held at 1 Tuesday afternoon in the Hayes funeral home here. The Rev Jerry Statler will officiate. Burial will be in I. O. O. F. cemetery.
Mrs. Gibbons, the former Ida May Freeland, was born al Shelbina Jan. 21, 1868, and lived most of her life in the Shelbina community. Her first husband, Thomas Rice, died about 30 years ago and her second husband Ed Gibbons died 10 years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Freeland Rice of St Louis and Giles Rice of Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Potter (Vivian) Fox of Chicago; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death.

Services Today For Mrs. Ida Gibbons
Shelbina, Mo. — Funeral services for Mrs. Ida May Gibbons were conducted this afternoon at the Hayes Funeral home with Rev. Jerry Slater officiating. Burial was in the Shelbina cemetery. Mrs. Gibbons died Sunday night at Levering hospital.
Mrs. Gibbons was born Jan. 21, 1868 north of Hunnewell, a daughter of Fleming and Katherine Mayes Freeland. Her first husband, Thomas J. Rice, who died about 30 years ago, was engaged in the real estate and insurance business here. She was married to Ed Gibbons who died about 10 years ago. Mrs. Gibbons was a member of the Methodist church and while her health permitted was active in all phases of church work. For many years she taught a Sunday school class. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Dr. Freeland Rice of Normandy, Giles Rice of Rock Island and Mrs. Porter Fox of Evanston, Ill.; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, William E. Freeland of Forsythe and a sister, Mrs. Wellington Patrick of Lexington, Ky.
