My paternal grandfather, husband of Portia Grace Fielder, father of Mary Ellen, Richard, James and John C. Mahaffey (my father). They married on Nov. 16, 1911 in their new home on Vine Street in Marion, OH. He worked on the railroad. Son of Francis J. Mahaffey (11/5/1857) and Martha Josephine Core (3/29/1881-11/29/1929).
