Rebecca June Sorrell, age 50, of Muncie, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 21, 2004 in her residence. A lifelong Muncie area resident, she was born March 6, 1954 to Donald and Wanda (Runyon) Abrams. She attended Muncie Central High School.
She is survived by two sons, Mark D. Sorrell, Jr., and Donald L. Sorrell, both of Muncie; one daughter, Brandy Sorrell of Muncie; six grandchildren, Zackery Sorrell, Reighn Gabbard, Doug Sorrell, Amanda Sorrell, Brandon Resler, and Kelcee Resler, all of Muncie; her parents, Donald and Wanda Abrams of Muncie; one sister, Debra Skeen of Muncie; one brother, Ted Peters of Springport; and four cousins, Tina Daniels, Mike Skeen, Angie Skeen, and Ben Skeen.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Lane Fairchild officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
Memorial gifts are preferred to the family in lieu of flowers.
