Marilyn Louise Rose, 78, formerly of San Angelo, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 16, 2006 in Gladstone, Oregon after a prolonged illness. She was born in Covington, Louisiana and lived in San Angelo from 1967 until 2003.

She touched and blessed the lives of so many family members and friends and was loved and appreciated by everyone privileged to have known her. The most common expression heard was "She is the sweetest person I know!"

She was preceded in death by husband, Earlie O. Rose, Sr. in 2000, as well as her parents, and a brother and sister. She is survived by her brother Conrad Wiegand, sisters Dotty Caywood and Yvonne Weaver all of Louisiana; son Earlie Rose, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters Barbara Samms and Diane Rose of Gladstone, Oregon; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Lawnhaven Gardens in San Angelo on Wednesday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. with Lee Hatfield, Associate Pastor at San Angelo First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
