Mrs. W.H.H. Drish died at their home in Sullivan Saturday night last. Her death was wholly unexpected as she had not been seriously ill. She had complained some with a mild case of grippe, but was not confined to her bed. The immediate cause of death was paralysis of the bowels. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church Monday, conducted by Rev. Tull assisted by Rev. Curry. After the service the remains were interred in the Sullivan Cemetery.

Mary E. Neece was born in White Hall, Greene County, Illinois, Feb. 22, 1844. She married W. H. H. Drish, March 28, 1869. There was just four days difference in their ages. To this happy union one child was born, Dr. F. W. Drish, a respected citizen of this city. Mr. & Mrs. Drish located in Sullivan October 12, 1889 and have ever since resided here. During their residences here they each have made many warm friends who have learned to admire and respect them for their quiet unassuming ways and noble traits of character. Mrs. Drish was a consistant christian, a member of the Methodist church. Mr. Drish has the sympathy of host of friends. His sorrow will be lightened to some extend by the presence of his son and family who will reside with him in his declining years.
