Funeral services will be held at the Lovington Christian Church, Sunday afternoon, September 16, at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D. D. Dick.
Pall bearers were T. E. Pargeon, N. W. Boggs, H. M. Duvall, S. A. Booker, Art Hostetler, and J. A. Green.

(Lovington Reporter obituary of 21, Sept. 1917 notes Margaret Newlan was born near Lovington, Sept. 1, 1843. She was married to John Magee in April 1864 and to this union one son was born. He (John Magee) died March 17, 1870. She married a second time to James Bragg. To this union one son was born: N. N. Bragg. She leaves two sons W. S. Magee and N. N. Bragg. Burial was in Keller Cemetery.
