Jessie May Brookhouser was born in 1869 to Nathan Brookhouser and Emily Morris. She married William Augustus Tolles on March 5 1887 in Silver City, Iowa. She died the next year, 1888 in Mills County, Iowa and is buried in the Silver City Cemetery, Section 2A, Row 9, mortuary marker #48
