Herkimer May 31 - While sitting, on the porch of his residence on the Herkimer- Little Falls highway, Elias A Seymour was stricken with paralysis and died within an hour after the attack.
Mr. Seymour was a florist and was well and very favorably known through this section. He was born at Paris Hill, Oneida County, January 13. 1846 und moved to Herkimer County in 187? residing at Middleville before acquiring the farm where he died.
The widow, whose maiden name was Mary Hadcock survives, he also leaves three sons, Howard Seymour of East Herkimer, Sylvester, who resides on the Little Falls road and Stewart Seymour of ? and one daughter Mrs. Mary Legg of East Herkimer.
The funeral will be private ... interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
