His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Methodist Church at Lake View, with the Rev. Harold Olson officiating. Burial will be in Wall Lake Cemetery, in charge of the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mr. Swanson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; and one daughter, Mrs. Charles Schnuckel, Odebolt.
A native of Sweden, Mr. Swanson came to the United States when he was about nine years old and had since been a resident of the Lake View area.
