Patrick J. Scully Sr., 76 a retired farmer and resident of the Beaumont area for 30 years died at the home of his daughter, Nora Tolman, after a long illness. He was a native of Franklin, La.
Family left to celebrate his life is one son, Patrick J. Scully Jr. and wife Rosemary; six daughters, Cathrin Scully of Germany, Nora Tolman and husband Kenneth of Beaumont, Dorothy Travis and husband James of Lake Charles, Loretta Torrey and her husband Earl of Norfolk, Va., Anna Mae Heiselbetz and husband Earl of Beaumont, Helen Miller and husband Carl of Beaumont; two sisters, Mrs L.P. Flood and Mrs D. Lauricilla both of Gretna, La.; and 18 grandchildren. Mr. Scully was preceeded in death by his beloved wife, Vera Rebecca Gilmore Scully.
