Rex Marion Christensen
1934 - 2023

Rex Marion Christensen peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on December 2, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Dad was born August 15, 1934, to Marion Cannon Christensen and Mabel Edna Lerwill Christensen in Provo, Utah. While growing up in Provo, he was a paper boy, worked at Naylor Auto, and had many other jobs. He went to Provo High School.

He married his love of 69 years, Fawn Marylin Saxey, on July 1, 1954. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple and had four children: Randy (Debbie), Garry (deceased), Terri Lynn (deceased), and Cindy. They were also blessed with seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children, his parents, and siblings.

We all enjoyed camping, boating, water skiing, and hunting. Dad worked at the Geneva Nitrogen Plant for 43 years. He had many hobbies and LOVED cars (his 1969 Corvette was his prize). Dad also loved yard work and made beautiful birdhouses for family and friends. He is a worthy member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Pioneer 2nd Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 450 North 1220 West, Provo, Utah. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial in the Provo City Cemetery.
