Mrs. Lois Hamblen Miller died in a Nashville hospital yesterday afternoon at 12:20 o'clock after an illness of five years.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at Burkitt and Son funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Fred Tarpley. Burial will be in Hooker cemetery at Gladeville, Tenn.
Mrs. Miller had lived with her son, John W Hamblen, 320 Hermitage ave.
She was a native of Mount Juliet, Tenn. and a daughter of the late Byron Hooker and Mrs. Mollie Castleman Hooker, of Mount Juliet. She attended Suggs Creek school and had lived in Nashville for about 15 years.
In addition of her mother and son, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Bill Clark and Mrs. Joe Gilbert both of Mount Juliet; one sister, Mrs. w. C. Staley of Donelson, Tenn; two grandchildren.
