Wife of Cyrus Hopkins, a descendant of RI Gov. Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785, signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Mother of Stephen Sibley Hopkins, printer, born June 4, 1847 in Romeo. He married Gertrude Maynard, daughter of William Maynard of Romeo, on Oct. 20, 1868. They had one child who died in infancy. In 1881 he removed to St. Clair, MI.
