Father dear is sweetly sleeping,
While his dear ones here are weeping.
God has gently called his there,
There he'll never know a care.
Father now is safe at last,
Close beside his Father's breast.
But if the God of Heaven will comfort us,
If we him will sweetly trust.
Loved ones, mother, brother's sister's too,
Let as always to him we trust.
God helps us our grief to bear,
Till we meet each other there.
~~
Son of William Hill and Mary M Sparks.
Married to Annie Elizabeth Tackett.
They had one son Roy O. Hill.
