Celebration of life for Rex Oran Layne Staeden, 49, will be at noon Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, Lawton, with Pastor Mike Ellis officiating.
Mr. Staeden died Monday, April 16, 2012.
Services are under the direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.
He was born July 14, 1962, in Marlow to Raymond and Imogene Staeden. He graduated from Antelope Valley High School, Lancaster, Calif. in June 1980 and married his high school sweetheart, Susan Chase on Aug. 16, 1980. He attended the Vo-Tech for the electrical trade. He worked hard to earn his journeyman and then his contractor license. He started Delta Electrical in January 2000 doing something he loved. He also coached a played softball for many years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for more than 20 years. He had a love for barbecuing that a great many people enjoyed. He wore many hats and touched so many people with that big heart of his and he was always so positive all the time.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; his children: Patrick and Tracie Staeden and Amber and Chris DeVries; six grandkids: Summer, Dakota, Corbin, Laila, Jessica, and Elijah, who were his life; his practice grandkids: Miquela and Domanique; his father, Raymond; his siblings: Wendy, Kerry, Sherry, Paul, Jeff, Tony and Robin and many more friends and relatives.
