Ruth Maxine McKinney Niedecken died Sunday, Feb. 26 in Midland. Services will be 1 p.m. today, March 2 at the Pipkin Chapel with the Rev. Casey Niedecken officiating. Internment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
She was born Dec. 4, 1929, to Carroll and Zaetta McKinney in Mc Camey and the family moved to Midland where she attended school. She married Alvis Niedecken Aug. 22, 1946.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, four sons, one daughter and three great-granddaughters. Survivors include five sons, Norman Niedecken, Clifford Niedecken, Ronald Niedecken, Kelly Niedecken and Jeff Niedecken, all of Midland; four daughters, Linda Stanley, Nona Hollums, Royce Brown and Teresa Davis-Taylor; brothers, James McKinney and Hubert McKinney, both of Midland, Ernest McKinney of Louisiana and David McKinney of Louisiana; two sisters, Edna Hector of Midland and Pat Livingston of Midland; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Services are under the direction of Pipkin Funeral Home.
