Nina May Hatter,born January 27, 1891, at Albia, Kansas, the daughter of Francis Marion and Rosetta Elwood McLaughlin. She was married to Thomas Virgil Hatter on September 8, 1909 at Taloga, Dewey County, Oklahoma.

Born to this union were seven children Lester Thomas Hatter, Viola May Hatter Day, Marvin Lavern Hatter, Glenn Alden Hatter, Arlene Rosemary Hatter Day, Rena LaVeta Hatter Acre and Elvin Rollie Hatter. She is survived by her husband and all but one of her children, Viola Day.

She and her husband farmed for many years in the Fay, Dewey County, Oklahoma community before retiring to Thomas, Oklahoma.

Interment was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Fay, Oklahoma.
