Rock Hill – Bertie Lynn Hinson Lesslie passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her home.
Mrs. Lesslie was born on September 28, 1930, to the late Jesse J. Hinson and Minnie Sullivan Hinson. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended Winthrop College. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and worked with the children's Sunday School and Bible School for 30 years. She also served on the Hostess Committee as well as the Building and Grounds Committee throughout her time at the church.
She is survived by her son, Julian Boyce Lesslie Jr.; and her daughter, Lisa Irene Lesslie Christmas (David).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian B. Lesslie Sr.; her parents, Jesse and Minnie Hinson; and her brother, Calvin Lindy Hinson.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Laurelwood Cemetery, 143 Laurel St, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
