William O. "Bill" Bachman, 81, formerly of 2nd Street, Slatington, died Wednesday, April 16, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Hollenbach) Bachman.
He was a shipping supervisor at the former Paris Neckwear Inc., Walnutport, for 30 years before retiring in 1984.
Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Maude Bachman and William Milheim.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Slatington, and a past member of the Slatington Lions Club.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a past commander of the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington .
Survivors: Son, Robert B. and half brother, Howard Hunt, both of Walnutport; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a daughter, Janice.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Harding-Fox Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
