On April 19th, 2012, James Harmon Drysdale returned to his loving Heavenly Father. Jim was born on May 29th 1952 to Harmon and June Drysdale of Washington Terrace, UT.
He grew up in the Washington Terrace area with his sister Claudine until his 1st marriage to Becky Blackhurst.

As a couple they raised their 4 boys Jamey, Tyson, Casey and Kiley Drysdale in Clearfield, UT. They later divorced in 1987. He later married Vickie Schwitzer and became a step father to Jimmy and Jessica Schwitzer. They later divorced in 2005.

He spent the majority of his career working in the sheet metal industry at Superior Air Handling. Later he was able to have the opportunity to work with his two sons at D&D Welding and Fabrication Inc. He was truly a man of trade. There was no task big or small that Jim wouldn't tackle and solve. He was your sheet metal worker, your handy man, your electrician, your plumber. Many of his skills were self taught, and his work ethic was something to be desired by all.

He was a devoted son and spent most of his free days by his mothers side up to her passing as she was his best friend in this world. He was a loving father and though other obligations in his life kept him from being with his children at times. They were always on his mind. He surrounded himself by countless pictures of them, and placed several calendars in his sights with all the family members birth dates making sure to never forget to send a card on their special day.

His most treasured times were the times he spent with his boys teaching them, and spending time with them in the outdoors. They have many camping, fishing, and hunting trips in their memory that they will always hold close to their hearts.

He is survived by his sister Claudine (Bruce) Butlers, and his three sons Jamey (Nancy) Drysdale, Tyson (Rory) Drysdale, and Casey (Jill) Drysdale.

He was preceded in death by his father Harmon Drysdale, his mother June Drysdale, and his son Kiley Adam Drysdale.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Hyde Park Cemetery, 400 East Center. We would like to welcome all who would like to be in attendance. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net.

Jim will be loved and missed by all those who loved him.
