EFFIE WYMORE KECK
Effie Wymore Keck was born on May 18, 1877 in Aurora, Nebraska and passed away, Wednesday, February 21, 1979 at the Marshall County Nursing Home in Marysville, Kansas.

On November 26, 1902 she was married to Melvin A. Keck. They were longtime residents of Summerfield, Kansas and the Richland Center Community where they attended the Church of the Brethren regularly, were very active and enjoyed it. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1952.

Mr. Keck passed away June 11, 1961. Three children also preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons: twins Ivan Keck of Long Beach, California, Irvin Keck of Richland, Washington and Lawrence Keck of Wymore, Nebraska; 5 daughters-in-law; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and loved by all.

Funeral services were held Sunday February 25, 1979 at the Richland Center Church with Rev. Clarence Smith officiating.

Four grandsons, Alvin, Elmo, Marvin and Douglas Keck sang "Old Rugged Cross" accompanied by Sharon Keck at the piano. Mrs. Robert Frazer, Mrs. Ivan Knowles and Mrs. J. D. Cameron accompanied by Mary Lee Evans at the piano, sang "Beyond the Sunset."

Pallbearers were Charles Usher, Carrol Burks, Robert Frazee, Dr. Norman Martin, Kick Marin and Merl Lovendell. Interment was in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery southwest of Summerfield, Kansas.
