Anton Bock Drops Dead At Cedar Bluffs
Anton Bock, 73, dropped dead form heart failure at the farm home of Henry Ludje west of Cedar Bluffs. He had been cultivating corn and had unhitched his team when he collapsed. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the Cedar Bluffs Presbyterian church, with burial there.
Mr. Bock has been a resident to the county for about 43 years, and has been living at Cedar Bluffs where he was a blacksmith for many years. He had worked at the Ludje home two years and before that was employed on the Williams farm near Cedar Bluffs. He was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews living around David City and Bellwood. He had no close relatives or friends.
