From his obituary in an undated Sikeston, Mo newspaper clipping: Well known Sikeston attorney died at Mo Delta Community Hospital. He lived almost hie entire life in Sikeston. Graduatedd from Washington UN Law School in St Louis in 1922. Authority on school law. Son of the late Ralph E. Sr and Agnes WIlliams Bailey. Married Lois McCord of Oxford, Ind 6/21/1925 who survives. Also survived by children Mary Ellen Barnard of Webster Groves, Mo, Roger A. Jr of Amarillo, Tx and David H. of Sikeston; 8 grandchildren; sister Honora McKay of Denver, Co; and brothers Ralph E. Jr of Kirkwood, Mo, John R. of Portageville, and Kent of Hillsboro, Mo. Pallbearers were members of the Sikeston School Board and Lynn Twitty and Harold Kiehne. Honorary pall bearters were members of the Scott Cty Bar Assoc.
