NAKED CREEK NOTES
A daughter of William Dearing died on last Thursday with flux, aged 11 years. There is a good many cases of flux around the mountains.

~Note~ Sarah Dearing was the daughter of William Jackson and Sarah Matilda Smith Dearing. She was born August 31, 1888, RCBR. She is believed to be buried at Smith Chapel Cemetery, as it was the burial place of her grandparents and great-grandparents. The cemetery was located across the creek from her home.
