Mrs. Lovica Young suffered a stroke on Saturday morning, December 4, and was taken to St. Mary's hospital in Rochester where she passed away on Wednesday, December 8, at the age of 85 years, 1 month, and 6 days.

Lovica Albro, daughter of he late Charles and Emily Albro, was born November 2, 1863, at Etna, and spent her girlhood in and around Etna and Spring Valley.

On November 2, 1881, she was united in marriage to Cyrus Young, and to their union five children were born, four of whom are still living. Her husband and one son preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her departure three sons Earl of Union City, Penna; Lee of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; and Arlow of Topeka, Kansas; one daughter Mrs. Chas. Auman of Rochester; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church in Fillmore, Rev. Russell Johnson officiating, and she was laid to rest in the Fillmore cemetery.
